From: Peter D. on 20 Mar 2006 00:28 Hi, I have a cheap multimedia keyboard (StarKey KB-1616). When I type "xev | grep keysym | uniq" and all of the multimedia keys I get... >X connection to :0.0 broken (explicit kill or server shutdown). > state 0x10, keycode 178 (keysym 0x1008ff18, XF86HomePage), same_screen YES, > state 0x10, keycode 236 (keysym 0x1008ff19, XF86Mail), same_screen YES, > state 0x10, keycode 164 (keysym 0x1008ff14, XF86AudioPlay), same_screen YES, > state 0x10, keycode 162 (keysym 0x1008ff15, XF86AudioStop), same_screen YES, > state 0x10, keycode 144 (keysym 0x1008ff16, XF86AudioPrev), same_screen YES, > state 0x10, keycode 153 (keysym 0x1008ff17, XF86AudioNext), same_screen YES, > state 0x10, keycode 160 (keysym 0x1008ff12, XF86AudioMute), same_screen YES, > state 0x10, keycode 174 (keysym 0x1008ff11, XF86AudioLowerVolume), same_screen YES, > state 0x10, keycode 176 (keysym 0x1008ff13, XF86AudioRaiseVolume), same_screen YES, Play and Stop are in the wrong order, but everything else is OK. The problem is that nothing actually happens in KDE when I press any of the keys. How do I make them do something? Follow ups set to a.o.l.mandriva. -- Peter D. Sig goes here...
