This is a weird one! I turned off my phone last night which I never
normally do, but still had my alarm set which I know still works. Alarm
was set for 9:00am, but at 8:15am it started buzzing (phone was also set
to silent from last night). Thinking it was the alarm I stopped it, then
realised the time. I turned the phone on to see if I'd set it wrong and
when it came alive it was registering a missed call at 8:15am! The alarm
was correctly set for 9:00am. So how did that happen? How did a call get
to the phone when it was turned off?

What version of firmware are you using on the phone (typing *#0000# will
tell you).

I've not heard of that one before, normal problems with N73's is the alarm
clock not working and the phone hanging on start-up.

3.0638.0.0.1
30-10-2006
RM-133
Nokia N73 (54.01)

It would appear that turning off the phone isn't working properly, I
don't know why. It appears to go off, but touch a key and the screen
lights up (though nothing is on it). If you make a call to the phone it
rings, but you can't answer it. The only key that does anything is the
hangup button.

If I pull the battery out and put it in again, the phone is then
properly switched off. But that's a bit annoying to do every time I want
to switch the phone off! Fortunately I rarely turn it off, which is why
I've only just noticed the problem.
