From: gary_hendricks_mail on 22 Jan 2008 18:17 Hi converging rails, You're sort of in luck, coz 'laptop recommendation' is my cup of tea :) Here are my thoughts. 1) Your requirements seem to suggest what is commonly called a 'thin and light' notebook. That is, you need it for very decent processing power, but it does not need to be so powerful as to play the latest 3D games. Most of these laptops have 14 to 15 inch screens, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB Ram and 100+ GB of hard disk space. 2) I would recommend anyone of the following laptops out in the market right now: - Lenovo ThinkPad T61 - Sony VAIO VGN-FZ280E - HP Pavilion dv6675us If you want to find out more, you can read also read an article I've written: http://www.best-laptop-guide.com/top-5-thin-and-light-laptops.html Best Regards, Gary Hendricks http://www.best-laptop-guide.com
