From: tractng on 22 Mar 2006 02:52 Guys, I am trying to edit my IP address when going onto Network Tools (Applications-->System-->Network. I logged in as root but still getting "Could not run SU" Check permission... Any idea? This is SUSE Linux 10. Thanks, Tony

Maybe your that X application for changing network settings doesn't have enough permission for running ifconfig command behind it. -- Raqueeb Hassan Bangladesh
