From: ds on 27 Mar 2008 13:12 Hello. I'm green as far as smartphones go, so excuse if it seems lame. I need wm 6.0 for an spv c600. How does one obtain one? Will it work if the c600 is locked to orange and microsoft? Will installing it remove the simlock? Thanks in advance

For Windows CE and platforms (like Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone) based on it, upgrades are _entirely_ up to the OEM (original equipment manufacturer). The operating system is never available retail. That means you can legally get an upgrade only from Orange. I don't know whether they have one, but only few OEMs have ever provided upgrades. Your C600 is one of several variations of the HTC Tornado. For more technical info about your phone, see the HTC Tornado forum at XDA-Developers: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?s=aa4853b7605acccf0d648f08ee8e4e38&f=285 >Thanks in advance > > ----------------------------------------- To reply to me, remove the underscores (_) from my email address (and please indicate which newsgroup and message).
