A newsgroup is a public forum, available worldwide without any fee or login;
there are tens of thousands of newsgroups covering every imaginable subject,
plus a lot more REALLY bizarre ones.

This particular newsgroup is for discussion of the Microsoft desktop database
software Microsoft Access. It's a peer support group; Access users answer
questions from other Access users. Microsoft employees only rarely make an
appearance.
