From: 0junk4me on 14 Jul 2008 12:05 Just heard from the operator of eastern star, and he has indeed now configured live_audio to show up on his nntp server. A lot of the newer fidonet discussion conferences were just carried through his system as he's a major hub, and not actually ported to his nntp server. HE's done that with live_audio now so you should see it when you log in there with your newsreader. Others should have luck as well, ans once registered you're granted access fairly quickly. Richard webb, replace anything before at with elspider

Thanks Richard, Last night I joined the prosound chat with the prosoundweb gents, for the first time in 5-6 years. When I joined the chat room, they thought I was Denny Con, but when I identified myself, a number of them remembered me. Felt like coming home. But, I still haven't received my registration confirmation email to join the PSW discussions. I'll have to email the administrator & see what's up. Thanks again, -Denny

Richard, I still don't see live_audio listed on eastern star newsgroup listings. -Denny

Richard, I emailed eastern Star & got this reply: ________________ Hello, Monday, July 14, 2008, 1:51:22 PM, you wrote: I thought Richard Webb would have forwarded the info to you.. I also happen to be one of the major backbone movers, I recently did some heavy auditing of the echoes we offer, this allowed me to trim down what the mail hub offers and then make sure my server is offering active echoes and offering all the current echoes.. My apologies, LIVE_AUDIO was not among the echoes I had on the nntp server, but it soon will be, in a few more hours. Should be no later than 5pm EDT. ___________________ Thanks again, -Denny
