Example of dates: 01/05/2009 08/05/2009 08/05/2009 08/05/2009 08/05/2009 08/05/2009 15/06/2009 Any help? From: Doug Muegge on 20 Jan 2010 14:35 I am working in a pivot table and having the same issue. Keep geeting a "cannot group that selection" error when I try to group dates. I have checked for blank rows as suggested in this thread. Thank you for the information - I have tried clearing all blanks and converting dates based on your guidance. Apparently, I'm still not recogning the issue - still getting error message "Cannot group that selection" - extremely frustrating but, I'm not that skilled at Excel.
