Hi,

I have a access to internet from PPPoE. There are Slackware 11, kernel
2.6.25, pppd 2.4.4,network card of nFroce and rp-pppoe 3.8 in my
computer. The connection good work.

I bought notebook with builtin network card of Intel Pro 100 and used
same configuration. This network card is right. I use it for connect
couple computers. My provider added yet one MAC address of network card.
But connection terminate at the start. Provider saies that it has all
right. The listing of /var/log/messages:

.....
Jul 1 14:56:27 diehard pppd[14754]: pppd 2.4.4 started by root, uid 0
Jul 1 14:56:27 diehard pppd[14754]: Using interface ppp0
Jul 1 14:56:27 diehard pppd[14754]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/6
Jul 1 14:56:27 diehard pppoe[14755]: PPP session is 45278 (0xb0de)
Jul 1 14:56:32 diehard pppoe[14755]: Session 45278 terminated --
received PADT from peer
Jul 1 14:56:32 diehard pppoe[14755]: Sent PADT
Jul 1 14:56:32 diehard pppd[14754]: Modem hangup
Jul 1 14:56:32 diehard pppd[14754]: Connection terminated.
Jul 1 14:56:32 diehard pppd[14754]: Exit.
Jul 1 14:56:32 diehard pppoe-connect: PPPoE connection lost; attempting
re-connection.
Jul 1 14:56:37 diehard pppd[15241]: pppd 2.4.4 started by root, uid 0
Jul 1 14:56:37 diehard pppd[15241]: Using interface ppp0
Jul 1 14:56:37 diehard pppd[15241]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/pts/6
......

I can't understand cause of error. Where is error: driver of network
card or pppoe kernel module or ppp daemon?

I found his mistaken. I said that I copied the folder /etc/ppp. It
moved by a ftp with user logging. And secret files isn't readable.
Consequently these files didn't copy.
