Would I then have to reconfig each individual updated version?

Of course but if you make good notes you will know exactly where to make the
changes and probably the changes will be identical. I posted a bit quickly but
you need to find the "click back" gui area and the button area and map the same
action to the middle button. Too quick in that you have to ignore preferences
and all that stuff so there will be more to it. I have not looked. Maybe making
all the choices for middle (01) button action the same. It is a bit bigger task
than I first thought. It probably not a good idea to try unless it is a learning
exercise.
