From: Angelocracy.com on 12 Nov 2007 08:14 I have fedora linux. I have firefox. I have a problem with firefox. It keeps going backwards. I don't do anything. I don't touch anything. It just goes backwards 3 or 5 webpages on it's own. I just install linux and updated the software.

Using an HP or Compaq laptop with the touchpad under the keyboard? You can switch it off manually or use 'syndaemon' which deactivates the pad while you use the keyboard.

PLEASE tell me how to configure my middle mouse button to execute a "Back" command in Linux. Dying to know this in KDE--couldn't find it in the FF config page.

Unless it is offered as an option in Preferences you will have to patch the source code. I have never looked at the source but doing this probably isn't all that hard. Of course don't schedule anything else for the few hours it will likely take to find what you will need to change. |
