hi..i am new to pc building...i kno this is sort of a very broad

but what is Raid?

who needs it?
what does it do?

what is Marvell Raid controller?
what is special about it?

thanks...i am doing research on google in the meantime..but if someone
can just gimme a brief..it would help..thanks alot...

I know nothing of Marvell RAID controllers. (The third-party ones that I am
aware of are from Promise or Silicon Image.) Marvell seems to be common in
onboard Ethernet controllers, though.

stick with known hardware. intel, nvidia, silicon image and such. drivers
are often updated along with bios too. you might get lucky, then
again........
