I know that I able to recover system and all data with IDR whan new server will be exacly like old one. But can I use IDR to restore system/data using different server I mean with different configuraton from different producer ? Thanks in advance Mike

That is not a question of your backup product, but of the system you are trying to restore. For example my experience with restoring a Linux system to different hardware is pretty good. Never took long to get it to work again. With Windows, I have experienced everything from minor issues to desaster level problems (i.e. reinstallation was the only option). You will typically need to at least reconfigure some things. Your backup software cannot do that. The best way to find out is to try with the different hardware. Additional benefit is that you get to test your backup as well. Arno |
