From: Chris (mudbubble) on 16 Jan 2006 22:33 of course as soon as a i post that question i figured out what you meant by break into pieces - very nice - i would have to say this is the way to go if you have a complex flag image - nice. ****************************************** --> Team Macromedia --> www.mudbubble.com --> www.keyframer.com Jeckyl wrote: > here's one I whipped un in SWiSHmax ,, only take a minute (add the image, > breaking into pieces, apply a 3d flag waving effect) .. then added a flag > pole and some scrolling sky to make it pretty > > http://www.swishzone.com/swi/wave-sample-flag-aussie2.html > -- > Jeckyl > >
From: Chris (mudbubble) on 16 Jan 2006 22:37 http://www.mudbubble.com/downloads/flag.html made with SwishMax. and as jeckyl says - once you know the exact sequence of steps (only about 3) it takes under a minute to make. ****************************************** --> Team Macromedia --> www.mudbubble.com --> www.keyframer.com Chris (mudbubble) wrote: > of course as soon as a i post that question i figured out what you meant > by break into pieces - very nice - i would have to say this is the way > to go if you have a complex flag image - nice. > > ****************************************** > --> Team Macromedia > --> www.mudbubble.com > --> www.keyframer.com > > > > > Jeckyl wrote: > >> here's one I whipped un in SWiSHmax ,, only take a minute (add the >> image, breaking into pieces, apply a 3d flag waving effect) .. then >> added a flag pole and some scrolling sky to make it pretty >> >> http://www.swishzone.com/swi/wave-sample-flag-aussie2.html >> -- >> Jeckyl >>
From: Jeckyl on 16 Jan 2006 22:35 Yeup .. it is a bit heavy on file size .. because of all the place tags required. But you can get some nice results. The SWI file for the movie is there as well (change the .HTML into .SWI) -- Jeckyl
From: Chris (mudbubble) on 16 Jan 2006 22:40 yeah file size is high - relatively speaking - but bandwith shamndwith i guess :) I do a lot of work for DVD/Video so in most cases quality is more of a concern over file size. I assumed that but I wonder why it crashes, rather than to give the standard "unexpected file format"? I am still using MX (not 2004) but it's ok, I decompiled your swf into an MX fla in a matter of seconds. (I didn't think you would mind) For the sWish version, I don't yet understand how breaking apart the bitmap would let you distort it like that. Does that make it possible to do in Flash? It looks great Jeckyl! I never upgraded sWish past version 2 but even that version has a lot of good effects built into it. tralfaz |
