I just want to do something pretty simple and put it on a website as a logo. I
want to make a logo look like a flag blowing in the wind and have it play
continously the whole time your on that page. Any help is appreciated.

Rippling flags are not easy. Lots of curves and distortions. Flash
isn't a good application to make those. You can make them outside of
Flash using a 3D tool, them import the image sequence into Flash. You
can also make flags with a paint program like Photoshop, fireworks,
Paintshop Pro etc using a flag tutorial. Animating them is a real
pain that way though because you have to have the effect move around
in a believable manner. I have done it before with Photoshop, but a
3D program is easier.

Thanks for the info. I'll try it in sony vegas and import it in, and if that doesn't work ill try it in photoshop or fireworks. Thanks

It's an old file, tho maybe you find some use for it:

Personally I would make images sequence using After Effect and a
"3d Flag" plugin from company call Zaxwerks
http://www.zaxwerks.com/2004/3dflag.html
It's dead easy and much less CPU intensive than scripting it in flash.
