From: Dragan Cvetkovic on 25 Feb 2005 13:50 Hi, I have just downloaded rsc-2.2.3 and started /usr/platform/.../rsc/rsc-config to configure RSC card on our Sun-Fire 280R (that runs Solaris 10) and noticed that it seems to mix BSD and SYSV echos. Here is the screen output: \nModem Setup\n-----------\n- Modem disabled, ppp disabled\n Is this correct (y|n): y \nSerial Port Setup\n-----------------\n- Serial port disabled\n Is this correct (y|n): y [snip] Now, I also remember that rsc-2.2.2 that was installed on a Solaris 9 machine didn't have that problems, so it looks like a bug in the new version (or some incompatibility with Solaris 10). Bye, Dragan -- Dragan Cvetkovic, To be or not to be is true. G. Boole No it isn't. L. E. J. Brouwer !!! Sender/From address is bogus. Use reply-to one !!!

Actually, rsc-2.2.3 rsc-config doesn't show that behaviour on Solaris 9, just tested it. Dragan -- Dragan Cvetkovic, To be or not to be is true. G. Boole No it isn't. L. E. J. Brouwer !!! I installed it on three machines last friday and it seemed to work as expected under Solaris 9, which mirrors your observations. /wfr Fredrik -- Fredrik Lundholm dol @ ce.chalmers.se
