From: MeadowRyan on 6 Nov 2005 19:11 Hello everyone, I have a group of 3 pictures which scroll across my mask that I have setup so it looks as though they are continuously moving. What I need to figure out is how to make a set of 7 pictures scroll across a 100% sized table in dreamweaver, so it looks like they are continuously moving. I have it working for three pictures, yet the size of the mask isn't very big. Would I need to make my mask extend to 934 pixels(100%) or my canvas in flash to make this looking continuous. If you look at www.avanta.org, you'llsee exactly what Im looking for. thanks for any help

By the way, I cant really understand, you manage to scroll 3 but you can't scroll 7. Can't you do the exactly same way and adjust whatever more there (mask ...) accordingly ? -- Regards Urami -- <urami> http://www.Flashfugitive.com </urami> <web junk free> http://www.firefox.com </web junk free>
From: MeadowRyan on 7 Nov 2005 10:02 The scrolling banner will be seven pictures, at the top of the www.avantafcu.org(sorry, I wrote the website address wrong) page, Im assuming that banner was done in flash. Would I need to just extend the mask ? What I originally did was take three pictures, turn them into a movie clip and the tween the clip to the left then put a masking layer on top of it. Would I just need to extend the mask, or extend the canvas size as well? thanks

It can be same size for 10 and for 100 images. The only difference will be that the loop will seem longer. Also, you don't need to change the canvas size, flash run stuff that appear off stage. In fact, find myself seldom being able to stay within the size. All the images I used (which are scrolled) are way larger than flash canvas. Common thing so you don't need to worry about that, flash does not crop it off. -- Regards Urami -- <urami> http://www.Flashfugitive.com </urami> <web junk free> http://www.firefox.com </web junk free>

I've got it to work, but it isn't as wide as I would like it. I would like it to fill the lengh of my page, i.e. 934 pixels wide and it is "stuttering when the group of images repeats, do I just need to increase the fps? Is there anyone that I could email this to so they could take a look at it, Im struggling? thanks |
