I urgently need to send an email but continue to get error message


The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'Cystic Fibrosis ',
Account: 'plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 456, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 10060, Error
Number: 0x800CCC0E

I have spent hours on this.......I use Avast, and running Vista.....plus I
am completely pc illiterate

Have you contacted your ISP's technical support to verify all account
settings? That would be step 1.
