From: AKA gray asphalt on 26 Jul 2008 04:28 If I wanted to spread some speakers around a small room so that I could kind of make one be drums and another lead and another bass, etc (really bassoon, cello and keyboard : -) ... Can I do this? Sort of like assign an instrument to one track of a surround system, no?
From: Martin Schiff on 29 Jul 2008 09:46 You should be able to do it with Sonar as long as you have a soundcard with multiple outputs. At work, we've got a round room with 30 Genelec 1030A monitors around the edge completely surrounding the monitoring position. We route 15 synths to make a midi orchestra simulation. Works great. All hardware though. We use a Mackie d8b console. -- Martin "AKA gray asphalt" <benvhoff(a)gmail.com> wrote in message news:llBik.197$3l5.68(a)newsfe06.iad... > If I wanted to spread some speakers around a small > room so that I could kind of make one be drums and > another lead and another bass, etc (really bassoon, > cello and keyboard : -) ...
