in this directory is no prism.. or equal file. i have have the windows
install cd for this wlan chipset, perhaps i can use a file from there
(which - where)

I now don't think it'll work but the file I meant was the 1.0.4.3 link
to 1.0.4.3.arm. You would download that file and rename to
/usr/lib/hotplug/firmware/isl3886.

On your CD, look for the *.arm file.

I've never used it but I think some people have had ndiswrapper working
on SuSE 9.2.
