i have a "Compaq Presario 700" it seems that the beck light of my
screen is off

this is not the first time that happen this
the last time not remember how i turn it on
i think it is not an hardware problem but a
software one

the light back the screen is always off from bios run at start of the
pc to the end but i see if there is enought light of sun that the
screen is ok it is only the light it is off

there is someone that can turn on that light?
i think that there is an api or something in the bios commands

there is some link that i can see for that problem?

Take it to your dealer or a repair shop.
