I am trying to download the 2006 dvd, but keep coming up
with an error:

>python /usr/bin/btdownloadgui.py billo-Mandriva-Linux-PowerPack-2006-DVD.x86_64.torrent

<GUI comes up and sits there -- click on "Log">

[2005-10-09 15:21:27] (global message) : Version check failed: no DNS library

Configuration: HP Pavilion zd8000 laptop, 2005LE Mandriva Linux,

I googled on this and came up dry. Any pointers would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Any? OK:

1) use the non-GUI version (btdownloadcurses?), or
2) use Azureus

I used it when I had 10.1 installed to download 2005LE.
This is the first time I've used it since I installed
2005LE.

I downloaded and installed Azueus (sp?), and it is
going great guns as I write...

I thought it might be a python library, but I didn't see
anything that looked like that when I browsed my uninstalled
libs. Ah well. It's probably moot at this point. By this
time tomorrow I won't have 2005LE installed and will be
trying to tune 2006.

I saw a request on a red hat site from someone who had
the same problem downloading fedora core. That respondent
solved the problem by upgrading the version of torrent.

Thanks for the response.
