From: jeffl on 30 Jul 2008 17:09 Hello again Is there a recommended pitch transposer. I'm looking to take all 225+ of my backing tacks for my one man show and move them down a whole step. My backing tracks were all done in CW and have been rendered to either wav or mp3 files--these I play thru a laptop in winamp and jam guitar/sing over. I'm real picky about the sound and am not impressed with either the CW or sonic foundry plugs I've tried. I really want that snare to sound good and the bass not to be murky, etc... By tuning my guitar down a step I will be able to add many songs to the repertoire that I am unable to sing. You may ask why I don't just do the tracks in a different key from the start-and, well-I have done that on many occasions. However, there are many rock/metal tunes in E or drop d where you cannot effectively change key and play it correctly on guitar (because of open strings, etc). Thanx again Jeff L Minnesota's #1 One Man Band www.jeffloven.com
