From: drosenbe0813 on 3 Apr 2008 14:59 I am having a problem capturing video with my aiw card. It is relatively old (9600), but i have the latest drivers, and have installed Huffyuv 2.1.1 codec. I created an avi capture model in the TV player, using specs from http://www.digitalfaq.com/dvdguides/capture/atiavi/atiavi.htm I run the capture...but when I try to play the AVI file in a player, the first few frames play, but then it freezes, but the audio continues. I can play captures using other codecs and setting, but they look like cr(a)p. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No other way has ever worked for me, but doing the above always gives excellent results.
From: drosenbe0813 on 3 Apr 2008 15:53 Thanks for the reply, I should have mentioned that I am trying to convert old vhs video tapes to digital. I'm not sure if that makes a difference in your response.

Should give good results. I record from external sat receiver this way with good results.
