I don't have all the fans installed and I like to watch temps in F instead
of C. Am I the only one that has to adjust the menu upon boot up to change
what I want and "apply and close" or is this just normal??? (av8 3rd eye
version)

No mine was the same. I also found Abit EQ used to forget changes
like that too.
