i m trying to update my centos 4.4 with up2date but getting following
error.what should i do ?

"There was a fatal error communicating with the server. The message
was:

An HTTP error occurred:
URL: http://mirror.centos.org/centos/4/os/i386//headers/centos4-Base-obsoletes.1000
Status Code: 404
Error Message: Not Found "

The file centos4-Base-obsoletes.1000 doesnot exist. This a Centos
specific problem.

Try to contact the webmaster of the mirror site.
