I've been using the 1.4.1 beta version for a good while now with a
variety of Linux clients and it works well. I don't know what you mean
by not supporting networking as I can access the internet from my client
sessions. However, it can't seem to share wireless connections reliably
on my MBP.

I can't compare to Parallels as I haven't used it.
