Answering to myself :
I could locate NT/HAL files in \winddk\6000\debug. I haven't tried
them yet.

But I am also looking for acpi.sys vista32 checked version. I wud
appreciate if someone cud email it to me. Not for any commercial use,
just for some research by using windbg

No. The only way to get checked files is to get the full checked build,
and the only way to get that is to pay for it through MSDN.

Sorry for jumping late to this bandwagon, but in %WDK%\debug\%platform%
you'll find checked build of HAL and NTKRNL*. I'm not sure if the're for
vista or 2008, or if those are any different at all.
