From: Dewittian on 16 Aug 2008 15:42 I have this file that is acting real funky. On any of the tracks in Sonar 7 on this file only, I can create a volume envelope but when I move a node point it shows how many DB I'm changing but when I let go of the node it looks like it moved but sends but doesn't sound louder. It's hard to explain but you know when you click drag a section of the envelope sonar tells you how much you are changing the volume and when you hover over the envelope it tells you where you set it? On this file when I hover over the just changed envelope it tells me I'm right back where I started even though the line section has moved. I opened another file and it works fine like usual. I even re-booted and re-opened sonar and on this file it still does it. I put a LOT of time into this project so does anybody have any advice on how I should proceed?
From: Sue Morton on 16 Aug 2008 17:02 Depending on what automation choices you have, that could be overriding your manual adjustments. You may need to turn those off. You can try opening the project in safe mode, and answering NO to the loading of any and all plugins. See if the envelope behaves the same way. If it does, then the plugins you're using are probably not implicated. Note: Don't save this project (unless to a new name) so you don't alter your original project. You can try importing all the tracks to a new project. You can try removing all automation and envelopes and reapplying the envelope. -- Sue Morton Dewittian wrote: > I have this file that is acting real funky. I'll try some of these ideas. Thanks Sue. Any more ideas out there?
