What is the "I/O Controller Hub ICH."

Northbridge, Southbridge, location?

I might put some extra cooling on it.

Thanks.

It is the southbridge. However, if you are getting error messages, they
could be coming from the northbridge, as the two work together.

However however, if you are getting error messages related to I/O controller
hub, it is unlikely that extra cooling will help that situation.

More likely solution is updated chipset drivers for the mainboard, or a new
mainboard. -Dave

Nope, I just want to reduce its temperature.

Thanks.

Now running a little cooler after putting a fan on it using a Zallman
fan extension bracket thingy.
