I have studied a theory of electricity with mathematics in the threedimensional space and what I have spend time with the 4-pole-theory when the transistor came up. And this is no longer of any interest. Tell me anything about the 4-pole-theory. -- E.F.

Visual Basic is a General computer application development tool, and this newsgroup generally deals with older versions, through version 6. It would only be by happenstance if you found someone here with whom to discuss the theoretical questions in which you are interested. USENET has tens of thousands of newsgroups, and if you get a good USENET provider, or search the archives at http://groups.google.com, you'll likely be able to find one where your question would be on-topic. In general, newsgroups are most effective when you ask a specific and detailed question in a precise and concise manner... "tell me anything about 4-pole theory" is likely to bring a facetious answer like "4-pole theory is the belief, now discredited, that tents had to be rectangular in floor plan, and that it was necessary to have one tent-pole at each corner to support them". It'd be hard to argue that there was not such a view and hard to argue that it is discredited, but it's not likely what you want to talk about. Larry
