thanks, I also searched the archives. It tells me that Wirf-brock is
better suitable as tutorial and Booch,Rumbaugh etc are for Advanced Levels.

buying only one book from amazon to India costs 10000 INR (Indian Rupees).
Oh My God, that is my father's 2 months salary

well, these books are made of cheap paper. they get torn easily inot
pieces. "arnuld" shows me some of the books he ordered from
Amazon, Englnad. That cost him 17000 USD :0 . those books are pretty damn
fine and solid in quality of pages and covers. but trust me 95% of
students and professionals will never buy them. it is way-way expansive,
students will better stop studying and i speak from expereince.

I must say that I find "Designing Object-Oriented Software" by Rebecca
Wirfs-Brock quite expensive here in the USA as well, especially when
taking into account that it is paper-back and only 340 pages. Amazon
USA sells it for $69 (2700 INR.)

Are you buying "pirated" copies of the books? How much will the Wirfs-
Brock book cost you?

That is based on availability (it is probably out of print) , and
quality (sealed rather than never touched but shelf-aged etc) .
