i have a desktop pc with wired and wireless network cards in the network
connections they are bridged. i am trying to conect my laptop to this network
using the wireless network. i went to
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/expert/bowman_02april08.mspx
with the intention of setting the network as described but the Wireless
Network Connection Properties box did not have the Authentication and
Advanced tabs, and in the Wireless Network tab the Available networks box
said" To connect to, dissconnect from, or finde information about wireless
networks in range, click the button below". i have installed all available
updates on the desktop and the laptop and i am still unable to get them
talking.
