I'm running fedora 8 and I've got a new samsung 245bw widescreen
monitor that I need a xorg.conf file for. the one i'm using currently
displays what should be square shapes as rectangles and circles as
ovals, so I need a fix.

thanks,

try getting X to auto-generate one.
X -configure will generate a conf file
it won't overwrite the existing one, by default it dumps it into root's home
directory (/root/xorg.conf)

The command must be run as root (or via sudo)
