Yup, so I Googled as suggested. I found nothing that made mention of the
purpose of such dim-witted idiots misspelling the word, but did find that
most all were posts in a group called alt.Usenet.kooks, which definitely
explains things... Sounds like a place all you misspelling morons should be
hanging out. I'm sure you would all fit in just great; one big happy
family!

Daft twit? 49,800? Shows how stupid you are. Do you have any idea how
many POSTS are made on a DAILY basis to all of Usenet? If all you found was
just under 50,000 POSTS with "poast" in them in the last 20+ years, then you
morons are about the SMALLEST MINORITY you can possibly get! Get yourself a
clue (or two,) you're going to need it!

Oh, just tried it myself, now it read 49,700, your a losing species it
