The latest one that is: http://www.apple.com/uk/displays/

As I move forward trying to make the desktop experiance for me even
better Im seriously considering one of these, but before I shell out
over 600 sheets on a display, is there any reason why not to?

Im guessing that Im never going to be able to hook a server/ PC to the
display if I ever have to in the future (is It possible to get a
MiniDisplay port video card for PC's?)

I dont mind the screen being glossy, as its gonna be in my study, but
is it going to be too limited and are there better options?

Are they still using the same display as the LG? If so, the LG is 200
quid less...

No it isn't. That one is an old TN film panel [1], cheapy cheap.

See
http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/panelsearch.htm

whereas the Apple uses a
24"WS LG.Display H-IPS (LM240WU6-SDA1)

Can't actually find the LG screen using the same panel, but don't expect
change out of 400

[1] For the record 24"WS LG.Display or AU Optronics TN Film

The `technical information sheet' on that page says it's 1920x1080, and
so does the LG web site. The Apple LED display is 1920x1200.
