Just recently I just suddently noticed a bubbling sound emitted by
one of my laptop. The sound is reminiscent of an acquarium sound that
is emitted by bubbles created by aeration.... or somethinglike
that....
Can anybody tell me wha the cause of this.....?
Never had this experience before.....
TIA

I have about 6 aquarium sreensavers, and they all give
a bubble sound when enabled.

That laptop don't have any....so why would it behave like that?

My guess is that this is crosstalk interference from data or graphics
processing circuitry inside the laptop. If you run something I/O complex
does the sound change in pitch and gurgling duration instep with the
activity?

Also it could be noise from the display inverter. If you do a temporary
change to running on an external monitor (so shutting off the internal
screen) does the noise disapear?

Have a look at your sound mixer settings, and try to mute, turn off or
lower unused inputs. Perhaps the sensitive 'microphone' input is enabled
and has it's input activated as a 'playback' mixable source?
