CAVO2.8 compiler error messages

From: Grant on 27 May 2010 19:39 I am trying to compile apps from VO 2.6 as well as ReportPro librarys samples and I keep getting messages like: Module Entity Line Error 4 Collapsed Level 4 21 There is no error description and I don't know which module has the error. Do I have my compiler options set wrong? The apps run fine in 2.6 but won't compile in 2.8. What does it mean by collapsed? When I try to compile Rp2Rdd32.lib I get - 'Collapsed' 'Level 4' Line '13'. Is there any problems with ReportPro211 and VO 2.8? Thanks for any advice here.

I'm not against buying it if I have to but if there is a free upgrade I would use that first if it will do the job. Please advise. Grant

RP V2.11 (VO2.5) is the wrong version for VO2.8, more like V2.14 (but seeing as I don't use VO2.8 I may be wrong with that version number<g>) Every version of VO uses a different version of RP so if you have VO2.6 and VO2.8 on the same machine then you'll also need to have 2 versions of the RP DLLs.
