You did not state if the printhead was a permanent on or one that is
incorporated into an inkjet cartridge. I recently had a very stubborn
clog on a HP inkjet cartridge that I had refilled. I tried the usual
methods to clear a printhead clog-- printhead cleaner liquid, soaking
the head in warm water with a little alcohol--nothing worked.
Finally, I put it in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner with some warm
water and some ammonia--that did the trick.
