From: Attila the Hen on 27 Apr 2010 08:28 I've recently installed Office 2007 Enterprise package and can no longer read pdf files either directly from a web site or in an email from another PC. There seem to be several references to this issue on Google but no-one seems to have a definitive answer. Can anyone help please? -- A. T. Hen

From: Attila the Hen on 27 Apr 2010 14:41 Hi JoAnne, yes when I try and open the pdf I get the dialogue box: File download and the prompt: "Do you want to open or save the file". If I open the file I get a new dialogue box saying : "The converter failed to save the file" If I save the file and try and open it from My Documents the same thing happens. Thanks -- A. T. Dumb question: When you try to open the file, what program starts to open? -- JoAnn Paules MVP Microsoft [Publisher] Tech Editor for "Microsoft Publisher 2007 For Dummies" "Attila the Hen" <AttilatheHen(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:466CD43D-255A-4694-8B21-B28DCE5F29EF(a)microsoft.com... > Hi JoAnne, > > yes when I try and open the pdf I get the dialogue box: File download and > the prompt: "Do you want to open or save the file". > > If I open the file I get a new dialogue box saying : > "The converter failed to save the file" > > If I save the file and try and open it from My Documents the same thing > happens. > > > Thanks > -- > A.
