Hi,

Our sql server 2005 data permissions are set to windows security
groups which exist in active directory.
Now it’s time to move to new servers (windows 2008 and sql server
2008).

I can restore the data but what about the groups.

With another active directory do I have to set all the permissions to
these groups?
This should take a long time.

Or is there another way?
