From: DavidConfused on 24 Sep 2009 14:32 I follwed the directions and tryed to do a manual intall (because tthe automatic failed) of this file http://download.windowsupdate.com/windowsupdate/redist/standalone/7.4.7600.226/windowsupdateagent30-x86.exe and got an unrecoverable error message box. I found version 2 on one of the posts i was able to install it and it failed. I rebooted and tryed to do auto update again and it worked and downloaded anoter version of the auto update tool . I have the auto updates working now I think it is downloading 45 missed updates. Thanks for your help! It put me on the right track.
