Hi guys,

I am sorry about crossposting, I read that up to 3 is permissable and it
is wise to set a followup group to. If you do not have access to the
followup group of comp.os.linux.setup or alt.os.linux, I will check them
all, thank you.

Firefox is not working too good anymore in my Fedora machine, I want to
upgrade it to a higher version of 9 but that will have to wait for a
spell. I cannot put in a new drive, install Fedora 12, then pluck very
important files and configs from the old disk because Fedora uses LVM and
every single system disk it starts with is called VolGroup00, including
the old one so I cannot mount it and take stuff from it.

For now, I want to update Firefox with yum. It all looks like it will
work, hell of a lot of dependencies but they work out, and yum asks if I
want to download these files and proceed. Yes I do. Then it errors out
with a bunch of conflicts that I do not understand, maybe they are things
I can remove and install again later or are redundant, I don't know. The
log is hard to read in a Usenet window because of word wrapping so I put
the original install log as captured in a term window online for someone
to see that can help.

The yum Firefox update results can be viewed here intact with no word
wrap:

And if you really do not like going to URLs at all, I will past it in
here for you, although I think that the non-word wrapped version is much
easier to read.

Somebody please help, how can I update Firefox on Fedora Core 9 please!
