File Compression

I've been trying to compress (right click - send to - Compressed (zipped) Folder) a folder that contains files in a foreign language but I get the error: "The compression cannot be performed because the file or directory.................contains characters in its name that Compressed (zipped) Folders cannot store: ž,š,ć etc." What settings do I have to change in order to compress this folder? Thank you
