FF version is 3.6.8. I also ran it from the CLI and the message I
received is as follows:

*** nss-shared-helper: Shared database disabled (set NSS_USE_SHARED_DB to
enable).
kmozillahelper(23373)/kdecore (KSycoca): Trying to open ksycoca from "/
var/tmp/kdecache-zach/ksycoca4"
/usr/lib64/firefox/firefox: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/
libkdecore.so.5: undefined symbol: _ZN9QListData6removeEi

I thought it a little strange that Seamonkey runs just fine; I figured it
would probably be using the same shared database but it wouldn't be the
first time I was wrong if it doesn't.

A matter of opinion as the term "factory" implies to me that it is the
"distributed" version or/and stable(?) naked unaltered version as
being in the "box".

NOW, you tell me that don't use it as it really an alpha/beta/ceta
version of whatever! VEry misleading since "factory" doesn't mean
factory-made instead of hand-made which can be the broken version.

The Factory should be renamed to Experimental, use at your own risk.

Cq. 12.0, as it's getting about time for a new SLE release.

That is the fatal one, it probably is expecting "another" version
of this libkdecore.so.5 shared object. Post it as a bug to the
openSUSE factory developers.
Seamonkey, which essentially is using the xulrunner/gre engine
(firefox got's its OWN version of that) is always a bit behind
the developements in firefox.

Had to go hunting to find the message in the projects mailing list that
specified that will be the next release. Interesting to know that we
might even have a first with the release after that as it's not yet
been decided if that release will be 11.5 or if it will go to 12.0. So,
seven months from now, the discussion may happen all over again :)
