I added a shape in my slide master Title and Content master slide and then I
added a hyperlink to the shape to go to previous

I had two slides in my presentation using this slide layout of Title and
content, slides 2 and 7 however, only the hyperlink on slide 7 worked, the
one on slide 2 did nothing, I didn't even get a pointer finger mouse cursor
by it.

Suggestions?

thats not making sense to me.
are you sure nothing has got on top of the hyperlink box - a transparent box
or text box - something that would stop the hyperlink from working..

I don't see that their is, I brought up the selection pane and nothing other
than my objects that I want are there. I just redid it. thank you
though!!!!

Is it true that if you edit an indivual layout in the slide master that it
will take precidence over any related changes you make on the top slide
master. For example, If I set the footer color to red in the Title and
Content slide master, and then decide I want it to be blue on all the slide
including the Title and Content so I change the top slide master, but the
Title and Content remains red. How can I relink the title and content to
correspond to changes I make to the top master...does that make sense?
