Hi:

I have a client with a legacy application that uses IPX/SPX. We are moving
one of the workstations out of state and want to set up a VPN for access to
the network. The VPN works fine using TCP/IP but when we try to add IPX/SPX
we get "IPX/SPX compatible CP reported error 733". We have learned that
this
happens because IPX routing not supported in Windows server 2003.

The setup is a SBS 2003 and a XP Pro SP2 client.

Any ideas what we can do to make this work? Software/Hardware solutions...?

Thanks,

Rolf

Hi Rolf,

Thank you for posting here.

Unfortunately, SBS 2003 does not support IPX/SPX in RRAS. Please send the feedback to
mswish(a)microsoft.com. In doing so, you can send the feedback to our product team and help us to
improve our future products.

Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to working with you here again.
