How do you do it?

You can use the Position&Size dialog and click on the predefined
45,90,135,180,225,279,315 or enter the rotation angle there.

Or you can enable "When rotating" with an angle of your choice in Tools

with mouse movement.

I do not know any "image rotation" pull-down menu. Do you want a new menu?

and let the SW

It might be interesting to provide additional predefined angles with 30
grid in the Position&Size dialog. But I see now need for an additional menu.

Kind regards
