Can someone convert the "Lending Library" Template from Access 2007 to Access
2003
From: Fred Boer on
Dear Cynthia:

While Access 2007 *can* convert an Access 2007 format file to the Access
2002/3 (or Access 2000) format, the Lending Library template uses some of
the new features that are unique to Access 2007, and because of this, it
cannot be converted to an earlier Access format without significant (I
assume...) modification to remove all uses of new Access 2007 features.

Fred, is quite correct that it would take extensive work to convert the 2007 template to work in
2003. The conversion wizard will stop the process if any 2007 -specific features exist. Just off the
top of my head I can think of four areas that would require rework:
- Attachment data types
- Multi-Value Field Lookups (if they're used in that template)
- Split forms
- Embedded macros
