I have bought a Dell Studio XPS 9000 desktop in May 2010 with the
following details: Intel Core i7-920 processor (8MB L3 Cache 2.66 GHz,
9GB 1066Mhz DDR3 6DIMM, 1TB 7200RPM serial hard drive

The windows experience scores are:

Processor 7.4
Memory 7.5
Graphics 1.0
Gaming graphics 1.0
Primary hard disk 5.9

How come the Graphics has a score of 1? Any problems with my computer?

I do not know much about computers, so any information would be useful.
Thanks

i would check your graphics card specs. the 9000 comes with the ati radeon
5450 which will give that score.

To contrast it to the EVGA GTX 275 that I put in my XPS 9000. In the
same order my Win Exp. Index numbers are (same order):

7.6
7.6
7.3
7.3
5.9

I'm guessing the disk score of 5.9 is the best you can do with a 7200RPM
HDD (I'm using 4 Seagate 7200.12 1TB HDDs). I'd also guess the 10,000 &
15,000 HDDs would score higher, with an SSD at the top.

The GTX275 was $315 in 01/2010, first time I've ever gone this expensive
for performance; but I wanted the XPS9000 to be my first screamer (and
it is!).

Have fun with your new computer!

i just switched graphic cards from the radeon 5450 to a 4850. numbers went
almost exactly what we thought.

5450 read 1 graphics and 1 gaming graphics
4850 read 7.3 graphics and 7.3 gaming graphics.

the 5450 is low profile and good for anything not graphic intensive.
certainly not intended for any gaming.
